Pete and Brita Miko originally got to know each other while working on an award-winning promotional video for a college.  In 2008, they moved to London, ON, and started their own production company – Miko Productions.

In the past eleven years, they have completed over 400 projects including: a behind-the-scenes documentary for Rock the Park featuring Alice Cooper; Saidat’s video about overcoming the pain of bullying with over a million views on youtube; and two Public Service Announcements (PSAs) for mindyourmind.ca that were awarded nation-wide airtime. A highlight has been working with the Royal Canadian Regiment on the Afghanistan Oral History Project for which they have filmed 39 interviews of Canadian soldiers giving accounts of their time in Afghanistan.  Recently, they completed an award-winning documentary short called “SAFE GROUND” produced with Monica Ulici and a grant from the London Arts Council.
